Q: What is remanufacturing of printer cartridges?
A: Used cartridges are disassembled and cleaned, and any necessary
replacement parts are added. High-quality toner or ink is added, and the
cartridges are tested and packaged for distribution. Toner (powder form) is
used in laser printers, and liquid ink is for inkjet printers.
Remanufacturing exerts less burden on the environment than turning parts
back into raw materials for input into the manufacturing system or reusing
parts in other products.
Q: Is the print quality the same as the original cartridge?
A: Remanufactured cartridges contain high-quality components and give
excellent printing results. More than three million companies around the world
trust the quality and reliability of remanufactured cartridges for their
printing needs. RWorld guarantees that the
print quality will meet or exceed the original cartridge or we will replace
it FREE. See what our customers are saying about us.
Q: Will I really save money?
A: Of course! You’ll save up to 60% on inkjets and 40% on laser toners. Contact us for
a quote.
Q: Why not just recycle old cartridges?
A: Although recycling toner cartridges does have a number of benefits, remanufacturing is a superior choice, both environmentally and economically.
In most cases, recycling plastics is not economically viable. Toner cartridges are difficult to recycle because they are made of several different types of plastics and must be completely dismantled and sorted. The cartridges are dirty, dusted with toner and contain non-plastic parts, which require disposal. Alternatively, remanufacturing involves cleaning, inspecting and refilling cartridges, reusing the majority of the original plastic parts. For every cartridge that is remanufactured, over a pound of plastics is withheld from the waste stream.
Q: Will I get the same number of pages from a remanufactured cartridge?
A: We guarantee you will get at least the same number of printed pages from our inkjet and laser cartridges as you will get from an original cartridge. Our customers are reporting many, many more pages of print per cartridge over their original. Anything between 10% to 50% more pages is quite normal.
Q: How do remanufactured cartridges affect the environment?
A: The use of these high quality cartridges eliminates millions of tons of plastics from our landfills and each time a toner cartridge is remanufactured 2 1/2 quarts of precious oil is not used in the production of a new one.
Q: Will using a remanufactured cartridge affect my warranty?
A: No, not at all. It is not only wrong for manufacturers to suggest it, it is actually illegal. As a consumer your rights are protected to purchase products from the supplier of your choice. If you read the label on many original cartridges they say “may contain recycled parts” so new is not always new!
Q: Can RWorld supply large volumes of cartridges?
A: Yes. RWorld remanufactures tens of thousands of cartridges per month.
Q: Will I get my own cartridge back after it is remanufactured?
A: No. Our plants have many empty cartridges provided by many sources (cartridge collection agents, customers, etc.) so it is not necessary for us to take your empty cartridge and quickly remanufacture it. When you need a cartridge, whether ink or toner, we supply it as quickly as possible.
Q: Does RWorld buy back its own empties?
A: Yes RWorld pays for all its own empty cartridges demonstrating that we use the highest quality parts.
Q: What area do you service?
A: We supply to downtown Toronto between Dufferin Street to the west, Victoria Park Avenue to the east and Eglinton Avenue to the north. If volume permits, we can provide service outside of this area.
Q: My toner/ink jet cartridge is not listed. Is it available?
A: For those inkjet products that currently are not remanufactured (Epson, Canon and Brother inkjet cartridges) RWorld offers a line of compatible inks for these printer lines. Contact us for more information.
